NZVRS Premium Valve Auction 20 July 2019   v1 20/6/19

The NZVRS AGM on 20 July will include a selection of premium valves that are offered to all NZ financial members. While the auction takes place at the AGM in Auckland, absentee bids from financial members unable to attend are encouraged to bid provided these are placed in writing (emailed to nzvrs@pl.net  or posted PO Box 13873, Onehunga, AK1643 to arrive before 5pm Friday 19 July) or placed “on behalf” via an agent (a financial member) at the agm. The donor’s wish was that these items be for sale to members only thus precluding any publicly open auctions such as TradeMe, eBay etc.

The terms and conditions of sale are that the items be auctioned in good faith to financial members (with absentee bids possible) after a modest reserve of $25 is met. The items will have a filament conductivity check only and are offered as is, untested. There is no suggestion that these valves will work as originally designed, rather they will have display qualities that may be useful to members wishing to create an authentic look for their displays.

Financial settlement and removal of the goods is expected by the meeting close unless prior arrangements have been made. It is strongly suggested that absentee bidders have a collection agent at the meeting.
